Mondi completes acquisition of Nordenia

Mondi Group confirms that all conditions have been satisfied and today it has completed the acquisition of 99.93 percent of the outstanding share capital of Nordenia International AG from funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. and minority shareholders for a final cash consideration of 259 million Euros.The acquisition of Nordenia offers Mondi Group a unique opportunity to create a leading consumer packaging business, build on long term customer relationships across both businesses and establish a platform to expand further in high-growth emerging markets.
