The new evaporation plant at Korsnäs Gävle mill was inaugurated last week by Barbro Holmberg, Governor of Gävleborg region, and Christer Simrén, CEO of Korsnäs.Korsnäs has invested approximately 570 million Kronor to reduce emissions and improve energy efficiency in the Gävle mill.“This is an important investment for Korsnäs. The mill’s CO2 emissions are reduced by some 50 percent, and the process will be more efficient with the new evaporation plant,” Christer Simrén said.
