SPCI´99: Drying problems? Not for long!
The Johnson Corporation will be introducing SPCI visitors to its 'single source solution' for dryer section optimisation and paper drying problems, launched this week at the show. Called "Tech Dry", Johnson«s package includes joints and syphons, steam and condensate systems, 'Advanced Controls', 'Backtender' (an on-line monitoring system for dryer and press section), dryer section studies and machine analyses, a fully-equipped research facility with fully-sized paper dryers, computer modeling and innovation, regional service centres and sales offices around the world.Johnson says that Backtender and Avanced Controls modules set new technological standards for dryer section optimisation with initial installations generating signficant efficiency and quality improvements. To support Tech Dry in Europe, Johnson has created Johnson Systems International which will be based in Ilkley, England.(Papernews)
