Finland: CTS Engineering with new concepts in paper mill rebuild
The finnish company CTS has expanded its services. A separate company, CTS Consulting Oy, based in Helsinki, Finland concentrates on the pulp and paper industry. The scope of its services comprise economic and competitive analyses, strategic business and market analyses as well as consulting for project financing. The president of the company is Arto Paalanne. CTS Engineering provides engineering, specialist and consulting services for the pulp and paper industry. The company have established their place as leading designers and consultants in the pulp and paper industry. CTS is involved in mill-scale rebuild projects and new buildings around the world. CTS Engineering is a player in the LWC segment. This is borne out by the mill engineering project of the first Valmet OptiConcept at Haindl Papier mill in Augsburg in Germany that has been entrusted to CTS Engineering. Valmet Corporation introduced its new generation paper machine concept, OptiConcept, last year. The paper machine will be the world´s biggest unit producing coated magazine paper.
