UK: Turner trusts in tissue
Tissue products manufacturer, Charles Turner, is building a new 15,000-tpy tissue machine at its mill in Bolton in northwest England. The £7-million ($11 million) project will not only include the new PM, to be delivered by Italian supplier, Toschi, but also a new gas-fired boiler house, as well as additional converting capacity to handle the output from the new paper machine.Startup is scheduled for May 2000. Toschi will deliver a 2.75-m-trim Hyper Modulo crescent former machine to Turner as part of a turnkey mini mill.(Papernews)
